Episode 1.4: The Halloween Special!

The Interchange's Halloween Special! Tonight's show begins with the winner of our Spooky Story Challenge! Then, Ann Kirkpatrick interviews Judy Harvey Sahak about the resident hauntings of Scripps College. Sally Zhang quizzes the audience on their Halloween knowledge with Halloween ABCs, and the Interchange presents a radio adaptation of W.W. Jacobs' classic scary story, The Monkey's Paw.

Episode 1.3

Kip White explores the question, "Should patients be allowed to view their doctor's notes about their case?" Justyna Bicz gives listeners some insight into the rising cost of meals at the Claremont Colleges. Sally Zhang provides a review of the play Kindertransport at Pomona Collegeâs Seaver Theater. William K. Baer presents "Scavengers," which examines scavenging cans and bottles for their California Redemption value.

Justyna Bicz interviews Pomona student Jacob about his experience working at the California Academy of Sciences. Sarah Vitak interviews a Harvey Mudd College alumn Toli about the music and arts festival Burning Man. Kip White returns to wish a Happy Birthday to a prominent American musician.

Louis-Victor Jadavji brinks us breaking news from France regarding the close election between Francois Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy.

April 29: Sonali Kolhatkar

Student Uproot presents a lecture from Sonali Kolhatkar, host and executive producer of Uprising on KFPK 90.7 FM in LA. This lecture, entitled "Globalism, Social Justice, and the Media" is part of the annual Pinkel Lectureship in Media Studies and was delivered on Tuesday, April 24 at Pomona College.
