Episode 1.5: Election Special


The Interchange presents its Election Special! David Janovsky gives his final installment of the weekly Election Roundup. Chiara Dorigo presents a report on the controversy surrounding new Voter Identification laws in several states. Sara Vitak examines the effect Hurricane Sandy could have on the election. Sally Zhang interviews Pomona professor Philip Streich about how the foreign policy of President Obama and Governor Romney has affected each candidate’s campaign.   David Janovsky returns to interview Pomona Professor Amanda Hollis-Brusky about the importance of the Supreme Court in the 2012 Presidential election. Justyna Bicz interviews her friend Caroline, who is casting her first vote in a Presidential Election this year.

Episode 1.4: The Halloween Special!

The Interchange's Halloween Special! Tonight's show begins with the winner of our Spooky Story Challenge! Then, Ann Kirkpatrick interviews Judy Harvey Sahak about the resident hauntings of Scripps College. Sally Zhang quizzes the audience on their Halloween knowledge with Halloween ABCs, and the Interchange presents a radio adaptation of W.W. Jacobs' classic scary story, The Monkey's Paw.

Episode 1.3

Kip White explores the question, "Should patients be allowed to view their doctor's notes about their case?" Justyna Bicz gives listeners some insight into the rising cost of meals at the Claremont Colleges. Sally Zhang provides a review of the play Kindertransport at Pomona Collegeâs Seaver Theater. William K. Baer presents "Scavengers," which examines scavenging cans and bottles for their California Redemption value.
