Uproot presents an update on Occupy LA, including a first-person account from Pitzer student Alyssa Solis. Protests and demonstrations abound on Claremont's own campuses as students, faculty, and staff decry the firing of 17 Pomona College employees and the visit of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Claremont McKenna College. Later, Kevin Amirdjanian discusses the role of social networks in education with Professor Alexandra Juhasz of Pitzer College.
